                                Thai Customs Electronic System (TCES)

                     1. Project to Enhance the Efficiency of the Customs Registration System, the Online Customs
Registration System via the Customs Department Website, and the Data Integration with the Online

Registration System through the Customs Trader Portal
The Customs Department has established a policy allowing importers/exporters, customs brokers,
and persons involved in customs clearance operations to register through the Online Customs

Registration System via the Customs Department website or through the Online Registration System via
the Customs Trader Portal for all activities, in the same manner as registration conducted at the Customs
Department’s registration service units. This aims to facilitate convenience and reduce time and costs

               for registrants.
Accordingly, the Customs Department has recognized the need to enhance system efficiency
by developing and improving the Online Customs Registration System via the Customs Department

website to support all registration activities for importers/exporters, customs brokers, and persons involved
in customs clearance operations. In addition, the Customs Registration System will be developed and

improved to support registration data from three channels, namely:
                       (1) the Online Customs Registration System via the Customs Department website,
                       (2) the Online Registration System via the Customs Trader Portal, and

                       (3) registration at the Customs Department’s registration service units.
Furthermore, the project includes the integration of data connectivity with the Department of

Provincial Administration, the Revenue Department, the Department of Business Development, the Customs
Academy (CCA), and associations of customs brokers accredited by the Customs Department, as well
as the procurement of a system to support data linkage between the Customs Registration System and

the Online Registration System via the Customs Trader Portal. This is to ensure that the system effectively
meets operational requirements and enables registration through various channels to be carried out
               conveniently and efficiently.
