5. The 34 Meeting of ASEAN Directors-General of Customs

Mr. Theeraj Athanavanich, Director-General of the Customs Department, Mr. Niti Wityatem,

Deputy Director-General of the Customs Department, together with representatives of the Customs
Department, attended the 34 Meeting of ASEAN Directors-General of Customs held from 3 to

5 June 2025 in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The meeting aimed to strengthen

customs cooperation among ASEAN Member States. The meeting noted the outcomes of key ASEAN
economic meetings, the progress of committees and working groups under the ASEAN customs

cooperation framework, and endorsed important issues and documents under the supervision of
the ASEAN Directors-General of Customs.

6. Meeting with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC Bangkok)

Mr. Yutana Phoolpipat, Deputy Director-General of the Customs Department, together with
Mr. Niti Wityatem, Deputy Director-General of the Customs Department, and Mrs. Sunsupa Klaisuban,

Director of the Strategy and Planning Division, along with representatives from the Strategy and
Planning Division and relevant units, welcomed a delegation from the Japanese Chamber of
Commerce (JCC Bangkok). The meeting was held to discuss issues related to the operations of

the Customs Department on 18 June 2025 at the Passakornwong Meeting Room, Floor, Building 1,
