Customs Valuation
























               1. Customs Valuation Mobile Training Program
                      The Customs Standard Procedures and Valuation Division organized the Mobile Customs
               Valuation Training Program divided into 2 sessions:
                      • Session 1: 20 - 21 March 2025, for customs officers under Customs Regional Office 4 and
               5, at the auditorium of Hat Yai International Airport Customs House, Songkhla Province
                      • Session 2: 26 - 27 May 2025, for customs officers under Customs Regional Office 3, at
               Meeting Room 1, Chiang Saen Customs House, Chiang Rai Province
                      The objective of the program was to disseminate knowledge on customs valuation consistent
               with international standards and domestic laws, enabling customs officers to consider valuation issues
               accurately, appropriately, and uniformly under international obligations and relevant laws. The
               program also served as a forum for customs officers to exchange opinions, suggestions, information, and
               issues related to customs valuation, providing an opportunity to gather input for improving customs
               valuation procedures to enhance efficiency.





















               2. Practical Training Program on Customs Valuation: “Deductive Value Method”
                      The Customs Standard Procedures and Valuation Division, in collaboration with the Customs
               Academy, Human Resource Management Division, organized a practical training program on customs
               valuation entitled “Customs Valuation Using the Deductive Value Method”, consisting of two cohorts:
                      • Cohort 1: Monday, 8 September 2025
                      • Cohort 2: Tuesday, 9 September 2025
                      The training was held at the Customs Academy Training Center, near Bangkok Bridge, and conducted
               in a practical workshop format. The objective was to enhance customs officers’ knowledge and skills in
               applying Customs Valuation Method 4 (Deductive Value) in accordance with the WTO Customs Valuation
               Agreement, thereby improving revenue collection efficiency for the Customs Department.
