Customs Intelligence Information

Customs administrations worldwide place importance on specific target identification
through the exchange of intelligence information. In fiscal year B.E. 2568 (2025), the Customs
Department participated in Joint Customs Operation (JCOs) at both regional and global levels.
The target commodities under such operational plans covered a wide range of goods, including
illicit transboundary movement of waste, wildlife and protected plant species, illegal cigarettes and

               tobacco products, and others.
Participation in these operational plans enabled the Customs Department to expand its
customs cooperation network with foreign countries through the exchange of information, thereby

enhancing understanding of international trade contexts and risk factors related to customs offences
in a timely manner. As a result, the analysis and assessment of risks, as well as the formulation of
customs control measures of the Customs Department, were carried out effectively.
In fiscal year B.E. 2568 (2025), the Customs Department recorded 48,711 cases of
offences involving violations of customs laws or other laws related to customs, with a total value of

3,004 million baht. The number of cases increased by 9,296 cases, representing an increase of
23.6 percent compared with the previous fiscal year. At the same time, the value of apprehensions
increased by 383 million baht, or 14.6 percent.
