On 5 September 2025, Mr.Direk Khacharak, Deputy Director-General of the Customs Department,

attended as a guest of honor and witness at the destruction ceremony of seized goods in finalized
intellectual property infringement cases for fiscal year 2025. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Kansakol
Indrasawat, Director of Investigation and Suppression Section III, Mr. Chalermsak Buakaew, Director of
Seized Goods Section, and officers of Investigation and Suppression Unit III, Investigation and Suppression

Section III, Enforcement Division, and was held at the 7 Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, 1 Anti-Aircraft

Artillery Regiment, Army Air Defense Command, Don Mueang District, Bangkok. In this regard, the Customs
Department handed over seized goods in intellectual property infringement cases to the Department of
Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, for joint destruction, totaling 230,964 items, with an estimated

economic damage of 127,420,800 baht.

The Customs Department appointed Mr. Kansakol Indrasawat, Director of Investigation and
Suppression Section III, and Ms. Pannaratana Phaholvech, Chief of Investigation and Suppression Unit

III, Investigation and Suppression Section III, Enforcement Division, to participate in the 5 round of

negotiations on the Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) held from 24 March to 4 April
2025 in the Kingdom of Belgium, and the 6 round of negotiations held from 18 to 27 June 2025 at the

Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel, Bangkok. They participated in the Intellectual Property Negotiating

Group under the Thailand-EU FTA negotiations, in cooperation with the Department of Intellectual
Property, Ministry of Commerce.

Statistics on seizure and apprehension of intellectual property rights-infringing goods in fiscal
year 2025 indicate a total of 382 cases, involving 542,694 items, with a total value of 46,335,717 baht.
