Pilot project on international data and document linkage via National
Single Window : NSW and ASEAN Single Window : ASW to facilitate regional
trade (in accordance with ASEAN Single Window Pilot Project)
Thailand participated in the pilot ATIGA FORM D data linkage test with another 4 ASEAN
member states, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. After concluding the test in February
2016, the result re ected different levels of readiness among AS A member states in establishing
data linkage via AWS. Further technical and regulatory improvements are required for better data
integration on ASW.
Thai Customs Department and the Department of Foreign Trade have been implementing
data linkage via ATIGA FORM D in parallel with paper ATIGA Form D with ASEAN member states,
Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, since 22 July 2016 and with Vietnam since November 2017.
Furthermore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam has established paperless
ATIGA Form D data linkage in customs procedures since January 2018. ASEAN member states are
preparing for further exchanges of documents between public and private sectors of each country,
e.g. hytosanitary Certifcate, ACDD/export information with ASW roject Management Offce ( MO)
maintaining and managing ASW-related projects within ASEAN over the long-term.
