Comparison between the old and new matching procedures
When compared to the old procedures step by step and activity by activity, the new
matching procedure clearly helps lessen 5 stages previously performed offcers down to 2 stages
and reduce the use of hard copies in every stage. The Web Service technology helps reduce the
number of offcers, saves the effort in document examination, reduces errors from data put in by
the offcers, and speeds up matching process from 9 minutes per container to less than 30 seconds.
