REPORT ON PERFORMANCE

          UNDER THE ANNUAL WORK PLAN

             Strategy 1

Develop work process and ICT system for trade facilitation

           1. E -F

T h e Customs Department has implemented effciency enhancement project for the

development of NSW Single Form system, improving computer systems to accommodate B2G
electronic data linkage between license/certifcate issuing agencies and import/export operators.

Operators can access NSW e-Form system to record information and submit requests to concerned
governmental agencies through NSW. A single submission can be directed to various agencies.
Furthermore, governmental agencies who are responsible for approving license or issuing

certifcates can share the same information structure. For example, for dangerous goods, agencies
concerned include Food and Drug Administration, Department of Energy Business, Department of

Industrial Works and Offce of Atoms for eace etc. If some of these agencies need supporting
documents for the consideration of license/certifcation approval, they can pull the information
from the system for that purpose. The development of such system is benefcial to both private

and public sectors in reducing duplication of work, reducing effort in recording information,
shortening governmental processing time, and saving cost. It would encourage imports and exports

and facilitate better and faster logistics systems. Furthermore, there is a plan to expand NSW
system to further cover other types of goods.

           2. Tax Incentive Tour
Aware of the importance of the development of Eastern Economic Corridor: EEC, following

the government’s policy to develop the eastern coast corridor into a strategic area for industrial
investment and leading industrial base of the country to achieve “Thailand 4.0” goal, Thai Customs
Department has introduced Tax Incentive Tour in the EEC area to promote and disseminate

information on tax incentives, as prescribed in the Customs Act 2017, so that local entrepreneurs,
investors, private sectors, and concerned parties are well-informed about the tax incentives they

are entitled to and are encouraged and motivated to invest in the businesses in the area.
