the 11 Meeting of the Working Group on Trade

in Goods (WGTIG), held from 1-5 September

2025 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Bangkok.
Regarding the Trade in Goods Chapter, the meeting
resulted in mutual agreement on several

provisions, and efforts were accelerated to promote
market access liberalization by both parties.

Meeting for the Joint Development Area, held

between 7-9 October 2025 at the DoubleTree
by Hilton Melaka Hotel, Malaysia. During
the meeting, the two sides jointly discussed
issues related to customs procedures within
the Thailand–Malaysia Joint Development

Area, including the addition of items to the
list of customs-approved goods for use in
the Joint Development Area, known as the

Master of Exemption List (MEL).

the 4 Meeting of the Working Group on Trade

in Goods (WG-TIG) under the Thailand - Bhutan

Free Trade Agreement, held during 17-19
February 2025 at the Mövenpick BDMS Wellness
Resort, Bangkok. At this meeting, the Trade
in Goods Chapter was concluded by mutual
agreement, and the two parties exchanged

tariff concession schedules for market access
in goods.
