Director-General of Thai Customs Department paid a study visit at the National Border Targeting Centre (NBTC) of Australian Border Force (ABF)

On 19th April 2024, Mr.Theeraj  Athanavanich, Director-General of Thai Customs Department, Mr.Niti Wityatem, Deputy Director-General, and Mrs.Sunsupa Klaisuban, Director of Strategy and Planning Division, along with representatives from Thai Customs Department paid a study visit at the National Border Targeting Centre (NBTC). The delegation was welcomed by Inspector Shaun BAKER and had briefing on Australian Border Force (ABF)’s approach of Targeting and Profiling, as well as, introducing of ABF training course at ABF Headquarter, New South Wales, Australia. Moreover, Thai delegates had a tour of the Container Examination Facility (CEF). ABF also gave Thai delegates a detector dog operational demonstration at the CEF to suspect drugs and illegal/prohibited product.
