Export values in U.S. dollar terms expanded across all trading partner groups due to front-loading,
particularly in electronics and agricultural/processed food products, as well as gold and precious metals
for speculative purposes amid heightened global trade uncertainty and geopolitical tensions.
USA 20.0% 2,203,413 MB. [+17.0 %YoY]
In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 26.0% for the second consecutive year.
Electronics exports expanded for the seventh consecutive year, including computers
and peripherals, telephones and accessories, air conditioners, transformers, electrical
control equipment, and gold.
EU 7.7% 850,658 MB. [+2.4. %YoY]
(In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 10.1% for the second consecutive year.)
Exports to Ireland were expanded for the second consecutive year (+THB 14,532
million) driven by telephones and computers; Germany (+THB 10,591 million) from
computers and electrical control equipment; and the Czech Republic (+THB 2,127
million) from transformers and computer components.
CHINA 11.9% 1,310,466 MB. [+7.4.% YoY]
(In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 15.6% for the second consecutive year.)
Exports expanded for the second consecutive year, driven by computers and
accessories, synthetic rubber, copper scrap, prepared food products, computer parts
and components, aluminum scrap, and cassava products.
JAPAN 7.1% 781,551 MB. [-5.5% YoY]
(In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 1.5%, returning to growth after two consecutive years of decline.)
Exports were contracted for the second consecutive year in passenger cars, telephones
and accessories, glass camera components, integrated circuits, and processed meat
products.
ASEAN 5 12.6% 1,391,260 MB. [-2.2% YoY]
(In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 5.2% for the second consecutive year.)
Exports declined after expanding in the previous year, particularly to Indonesia (–THB
35,265 million) and the Philippines (–THB 19,597 million) from rice and passenger cars,
and Malaysia (–THB 11,845 million) from refined oil and automotive parts.
CLMV 9.5% 1,049,017 MB. [+2.9% YoY]
(In U.S. dollar terms, increased by 10.5% for the second consecutive year.)
exports expanded to Singapore (+THB 35,616 million) from gold and telephones,
Brunei (+THB 412 million) from offshore support vessels and fire engines, and
continued expanding for the second consecutive year in Vietnam, Myanmar,
Lao PDR, and Cambodia.
