     1.  Somewhere  in  childhood  - around  the  age  of  seven  - I  had

     glugged  from  a  bottle  of  Bell's,  mistaking  it  for  ginger  ale,  an
     incident which established an emetic aversion to the stuff.

     emetics were administered.
