The Customs Department attended the 3rd Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) Negotiations between Thailand and United Arab Emirates

On 29 August 2023 - 1 September 2023, Mrs.Kitjaluck Srinuchsart, Deputy Director-General of the Customs Department along with the delegates from the Thai Customs Department attended the 3rd Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) Negotiations between Thailand and United Arab Emirates, and joined the sub-working group meeting namely Working Group on Merchandise Trade, Customs Cooperation Working Group, Rule of Origin Working Group. The meeting was attended by Mrs. Oramon Sapthaweetham, Director-General of the Department of Trade Negotiations, and Thai team. For the sub-working group meeting has issues regarding the customs formality, trade facilitation, rules of origin and merchandise trade. The discussion has made considerable progress and expected to conclude the negotiations within the year 2023 as planned.
