AEO-MRA Signing Ceremony between the Customs Department of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Customs of ASEAN Member States

Today (15 May 2023), Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa, Director-General of the Thai Customs Department has officially signed the Mutual Recognition Arrangement of ASEAN Member States AEO programmes (ASEAN AEO MRA). Once all 10 member states of ASEAN execute the ASEAN AEO MRA, ASEAN AEOs would be able to enjoy the benefits on trade facilitation on customs procedure when export to other ASEAN countries. Thailand has become the 8^th country to enter into the ASEAN AEO MRA, following Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos PDR and the Philippines.
