On 29 November 2022 Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa, Director-General of Customs, Mr. Phantong Loykulnanta, Deputy Director-General, Acting Principal Advisor on Duty Collection Management & Development along with Thai Customs delegates paid a study visit at Central Customs Laboratory  (CCL), Chiba, Japan. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Hiromi MASUHIRA , Director General, Central Customs Laboratory and briefed on CCL 's overview, operations and missions of CCL. Both sides exchange views on research and development in the area of chemical analysis procedures and equipment used to classify customs tariff and detect contraband.
