Director-General of Thai Customs Department signed an AEO-MRA

On 5^th April 2022, Director-General of the Thai Customs Department, Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa and Director-General of the Customs and Tariff Bureau of Japan, Mr. Sakata Wataru have officially signed the Thailand-Japan AEO MRA at “AEO-MRA Virtual Signing Ceremony between The Customs Department of the Kingdom of Thailand and The Customs Administration of Japan”. The signing ceremony was joined by Principal Advisors, Deputy Director-Generals, Senior Executives of Thai Customs and witnessed by Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, Head of Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) and Mr. Rei Murakawa, Second Secretary and Vice Consul.

The AEO-MRA will benefit trade facilitation for   Thai AEO exporters on customs procedure when export to Japan. Thai Customs has also signed MRA with customs administration of Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and Australia.
