The Director-General of the Customs Department presided over the opening seminar on the topic of “Payment of Tax and Duties, Fees, other Revenues and Deposits by Electronic System through Bill Payment”


          Mr.Krisada Chinavicharana, Director-General of the Customs Department presided over the opening seminar on the topic of “Payment of Tax and Duties, Fees, other Revenues and Deposits by Electronic System through Bill Payment.” This was to publicize, clarify and give information on the Bill Payment as well as to emphasize to entrepreneurs the importance and benefits of using the Bill Payment system. At the seminar, not only giving advice on the payment process through the Bill Payment system, the Customs Department also invited the six contracting banks to be present at the seminar so that participated companies could gain more information and ultimately apply for the service with the banks directly.

          The seminar was held on 17 February 2020, at Meeting Room, 16th floor, 120 Years Building, at the Customs Department. This was the second time that the Thai Customs Department hosted the seminar for the entrepreneurs on ‘Bill Payment.’ There were more than 400 participants presented, including 150 companies which use cashier cheque system for the majority of their payment of tax and duties, fees, other revenues and deposits.
