The Director-General of Customs Announced the Seize of Opium Poppy Seed

Mr.Krisada Chinavicharana, Director-General of Customs jointly announced with    Laem Chabang Port Customs Office, Office of the Narcotics Control Board, Narcotics Suppression Bureau, Port of Laemchabang Plant Quarantine Station, Import and Export Inspection Division Laemchabang, and Laemchabang Port, seized the 170 tonnes of opium poppy seeds, worth more than 25 million baht, which the opium poppy seeds that have been found to contain the substances as a category 5 narcotics according to the Narcotics Act B.E.2522, held on 4 October 2019.
