The Director-General presided over opening ceremony of e-Coastal Trading System project

On 24 May 2019, Mr.Krisada Chinavicharana, Director-General of the Customs Department, presided over opening ceremony of e-Coastal Trading System project by the Laem Chabang Port Customs Bureau at Terminal D, Laem Chabang Port. The aim of the system is to offer more convenience and faster access to information for all sectors including coastal vessel operators, exporters, terminal operators, and customs officers. Moreover, the system also due in part to the government’s policy to reduce the cost of natural resources and support logistic system, and due in part to the Trade Facilitation Agreement, WCO.
